KHÔI PHỤC CHÍNH SÁCH NHẬP CẢNH VÀO VIỆT NAM CỦA NGƯỜI NƯỚC NGOÀI (RESTORE THE FOREIGNER ENTRY INTO VIETNAM POLICY)
Trước bối cảnh nối lại chính sách thị thực của Việt Nam trong điều kiện thích ứng an toàn với đại dịch, ngày 16/3/2022, Cục Quản lý xuất nhập cảnh có thông báo mới về khôi phục chính sách nhập xuất cảnh của người nước ngoài.
In the context of the resumption of Vietnam’s visa policy in the context of safe pandemic adaptation, the Immigration Department issued a new announcement on March 16, 2022, restoring the entry and exit policy of foreigners.

“Căn cứ chỉ đạo của Phó Thủ tướng Thường trực Chính phủ Phạm Bình Minh do Văn phòng Chính phủ truyền đạt tại công văn số 1606/VPCP-QHQT, ngày 15/3/2022, Cục Quản lý xuất nhập cảnh trân trọng thông báo:
“The Immigration Department is pleased to announce that, in accordance with the direction of Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh communicated by the Government Office in Official Dispatch No. 1606/VPCP-QHQT, dated March 15, 2022, the Immigration Department is pleased to announce that:
Từ ngày 15/3/2022, việc giải quyết cho người nước ngoài, người Việt Nam định cư ở nước ngoài nhập xuất cảnh Việt Nam được thực hiện theo quy định của Luật Nhập cảnh, xuất cảnh, quá cảnh, cư trú của người nước ngoài tại Việt Nam và các văn bản hướng dẫn thi hành (như trước khi áp dụng các biện pháp hạn chế nhằm phòng, chống dịch Covid).
From March 15, 2022, the settlement for foreigners and Vietnamese residing abroad to enter and exit Vietnam must adhere to the provisions of the Law on Foreigners’ Entry, Exit, Transit, and Residence in Vietnam and guiding documents (such as before the application of restrictive measures to prevent and control the Covid epidemic).

The prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic for people entering the country must comply with Ministry of Health Document No. 1265/BYT-DP dated March 15, 2022.”
Như vậy, từ ngày 15/3/2022 đối với các trường hợp người nước ngoài nhập cảnh vào Việt Nam sẽ tiến hành thủ tục xin công văn nhập cảnh tại Cục quản lý xuất nhập cảnh, tuy nhiên phải đảm bảo các biện pháp phòng chống dịch Covid-19 theo hướng dẫn số 1265/BYT-DP ngày 15/3/2022 của Bộ y tế.
As a result, from March 15th for cases involving foreigners entering Vietnam, the procedures for applying for an entry letter will be carried out at the Immigration Department, however, must ensure measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in accordance with Ministry of Health guidance No. 1265/BYT-DP dated March 15, 2022.
